Dr. Anurag Ganguli

Vice President, Research & Development, Plus

As Vice President of R&D at Plus, Dr. Anurag Ganguli defines and implements the product roadmap and development milestones of the company’s Level 4 driverless truck technology. He also plays a key role in helping repackage Plus’s driverless technology to become a driver-in product, PlusDrive, that was launched as a commercial product, with deliveries to customers like Amazon starting in February 2021.

Prior to joining Plus, Dr. Ganguli was a research manager at the Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) working on a number of technologies for Intelligent Transportation Systems. His previous roles also included developing collision warning systems for cars and autonomous drones at Delphi and UtopiaCompression Corporation.

Dr. Ganguli received the Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai, India, in 2002, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Urbana, in 2007. Dr. Ganguli was a finalist for the Best Student Paper Award at the American Control Conference in 2005 and the recipient of the Best Student Paper Award at the American Control Conference in 2006.
