Guido Ghisio

Head of Automated Driving Technologies, Magneti Marelli

Guido Ghisio is Head of Automated Driving Technologies in the Magneti Marelli Technology Innovation Department, where  is responsible for all innovation activities related to autonomous driving : Environmental Sensing, Data Fusion, Vehicle Trajectory Planning.

He began to work in telecom research labs and was involved in image processing studies as well as integrated circuits design. In 1988 he joined the IC design group of Magneti Marelli Electronic Systems. He was project leader for several instrument clusters and body electronics designs. As program manager he has been responsible for body electronics and telematics developments. Starting in 2006,  he was responsible for ADAS development. The main topics he was in charge for until 2013 were sensors for environmental perception, electronic horizon.

Guido is the author of several patents and conference papers.
