Hongsheng Lu is a well experienced Principal Researcher for Connected and Automated Driving, Cooperative Perception and Sensor Fusion at Toyota North America. He lead innovation in both vehicle connectivity and automation and builds solutions to enable cooperative perception and V2X-assisted sensor fusion. As an inventor (20+ patent applications) and thought-leader in the connected and automated driving industry Hongsheng is a well known speaker at ITS conferences and events and holds a Computer Science Ph.D from University of Notre Dame.
