Jeff Peters is a principal at Autotech Ventures having previously studied infrastructure networks as complex systems while a research fellow at Stanford. Prior to Stanford, he conducted independent transportation research for the US Congress and began his career as an aerospace engineer at Northrop Grumman Space Technology. He has published several academic articles on mathematical optimization applied to transportation and energy systems.
Jeff has a Ph.D. in Applied Economics, MS in Economics, MSE in Transportation Engineering from Purdue University – where he co-founded TEDxPurdueU, and BSE in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan.
He has worked on a ’74 Duster, sold new and used cars, climbed several ‘14ers’, trekked to Everest Base Camp, and tested an experiment in zero-gravity onboard NASA’s “Vomit Comet”.
